I have this attachment and it's not that good in slicing or cutting. The veggies get struck inside. The white plastic stains very easily, not easy to clean. Used twice in 4 years

These are attachments only. No machine. It depends on the machine you own.

This is for people that don't have a food processor with attachments. I have a kitchenaid stand mixer and a food processor with all the attachments they offer. The kitchenaid gets used once a year while the food processor gets used at least twice a week

I had this and disliked it. Our old, basic salad shooter from BBB is much better.

IMO, the Presto Salad Shooter may be a better investment. I have one and use it at least twice a week, it's a game changer when it comes to grating cheese for sure. Portability is another convenience. Not knocking the KSM, I absolutely love mine however, for slicing and grating, I think the Presto is the better bet.

I believe the one at Walmart has 3 blades.....this one has 4. If you select the 3 blade version on Amazon, it is cheaper than Walmart.

It's best use is for shredding cheese. Much less cleanup then pulling out a food processor to do that task. It doesn't spin fast enough to slice veg easily.

I use this attachment weekly to shred blocks of cheese and slice up sweet potatoes for the air fryer. All of the attachments work great. It will plug up it you try to force too much into it.
