Make sure it's anchored on studs.

I can also see the jokes coming now...

Really more of a work shelf than a desk or work space at 20" deep. Still a good deal!

Can anyone comment with where the instructions can be found or what the distance between two studs needs to be for this? The manufacturer website seems to be offline at the moment.

Walk the plank. Does this count? Too short? What's the load capacity of a plank?

At 48 inches wide, it should be easy to hit two studs. I assume the holes aren't predrilled for the bracket spacing.

heavy duty and wall mounted shelf sounds like two conflicting things.

32" between mount points so standard 16" studs work

Not a bad bargain desktop -- just take off the hinges & any other hardware.

Then install on a motorized standing desk frame.

Voila!
Wut! You're saying buy this, remove anything of value and then mount it on a motorized frame? Why not Just buy a sheet of plywood and mount it on the same thing

Will this hold up with the stronger drywall screws (Home Depot has the 75# plus drywall anchors).

=)

If this is similar to the one from home depot, it's solid AF.

I used saw horses with the Styrofoam from the package to hold the table top with the brackets leveled and in place. I used a laser level to quickly drill the holes into both studs. 24" level on table top along with a double A battery (to see if it rolled in any direction) to complete the install.

How does it fold down? Do you have to turn the brackets 90 degrees or do they fold somehow?
