Thanks OP, I had bought a Milwaukee M18 fuel router for my dad and he ended up buying a separate router just for the plunge cut ability. Now I'm doing the same since The plunge cut attachment for the Milwaukee is like $300

If for router table, get the fixed base and skip the kit with the plunge. Deals on the fixed come around every so often, recently in the $130 range.
