I bought the same Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1) on clearance at Target for $14.99 a few days ago. The original price was $49.99. It seemed to work just fine. The two USB A 3.0 and one USB-C ports transfer data at high speed as expected. The HDMI output to a 4K display is as expected at 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. You can bump the resolution down to 1920 x 1080 for 60 Hz. With this Anker 332 USB hub you basically get two additional USB A 3.0 ports and a HDMI 4K 30Hz port. That works just fine for my Dell 7212 Windows 10 tablet which only has one USB A 3.0 port, one USB-C port and no HDMI output port.

The plastic case seemed flimsy. I would not have bought it at the original MSRP price of $49.99. But at $15 or $16 it is a steal. It would have been great if the HDMI 4K output was 60 Hz but that is a more expensive Anker model.

FYI: There is only one USB-C port 'usable' on this device. The 2nd port is a PD-IN port only and does not support data transfer, etc.
Basically, it is for connection to an external/separate power supply. That power can then be passed through to the one USB-C data port, the two USB-A data ports, or the upstream USB-C "Input".
