While I agree that the 6700xt is the best play in this price range, the 4060 has a similar performance or slightly better than the RX 7600. About 10% more than the 6600xt and 10% less than the 6700xt.

it's a pretty good deal actually, many of you only mention how RX 6600XT has better frames/$ ratio, but forgot to compare picture quality.

When turning on FSR2 vs DLSS2, there is a visible image quality difference. It also that makes FSR3/DLSS3 anywhere from jitter-fest with ugly artifacts to smooth frames which rivals native rasterization.

Personally I would always pick better image quality over 20% frame rate.

+1 for citing sources
Also, that's looking at pure rasterization. The 4060 has a really crappy value, but 279 is more of a realistic range. If the 4060ti can get to this price I'm sold.

If you are only getting 8GB anyway a used 3070 would slap compared to 4060, almost twice the shaders etc. Just undervolt to get power use down.

If they had just done a die shrink on 3060 and added cache with faster clocks and stayed 12GB 4060 would be the card of the generation.

Hard to argue for a $280 RTX 4060 when a 6700 XT was $300 just last week...

This GPU is marketed for 1080p gaming, and DLSS/FSR can reduce image quality drastically at 1080p. DLSS/FSR make more sense at 1440p and above resolutions.

Honestly, at this performance tier, native rasterization performance is a better indicator.

You could use this card for 1440p gaming with DLSS enabled. If you play single-player games, you'll be fine. But, if you want to play competitively online, consider the latency due to DLSS/FSR—if that's something you care about.

Not sure if the other people are trolling. This is the best ITX card on the market. All of the comparisons are void.
