So I have a bunch of points in my sw account (about 100k) from doing this deal and spend over the past two years. The wife will plan on getting the companion pass next year but what do we do with all of my points? Can or should they be transfered or just hold on to them for two more years?

You can't transfer them, you can hold on to them until your wife gets companion pass, then you can use YOUR points to book HER flight and then add yourself as companion. Points can be used for anyone's tickets.

Trying to time my Dec closing date to the earliest possible in the month of December and then running up my purchases after that. Was thinking around Nov 6 for applying for the cards. For those that have applied recently, what closing date did you receive?

If you have sw business performance card, you can transfer RRs to another RR member. Any transfer fee upto $500 is reimbursed by using the performance card

FYI, the Chase refer a friend landing page now allows you to 'refer' the 75k individual card offer, so two people could get a total of 95k out of one card application (75k plus 20k referral).

That's pretty sweet for spouse-to-spouse or other type of family referrals

I had no idea you could do this and it will be incredibly helpful! I have a lot of points in my account and my wife is currently working on the companion pass.

Rapid rewards plus (the personal card) is now75K points after $3K spend in 3 months. I'd get that one first, right? Since it's a limited time offer? or is the business card in the OP also limited?
