I got one of these. As stated above if you have a bunch of batteries on your workbench charged- these are really handy for emergency situations etc. Halloween…? Run LED rope lights on the trailer we're pulling. Night sledding? Plug in my LED portable floodlights for sledding on the hill across the street. Power outage? Run your router/modem for a few hours till power is restored. AC outlet is quite convenient and this set up is pretty portable.
Only warning- the modified sine wave on mine makes some pretty dirty power… when running my floodlight (probably 30w) it does a random flicker every few minutes- assuming a tiny hitch in the power sine wave. No big deal for a lamp but might think twice about plugging in anything that could struggle with non pure sine wave power source.
I paid $90 for mine and would have felt better at the $50 price based on value and usage….

Modified sine wave, of course. Whomever makes one of these compact units that's pure sine wave, I'm switching to their battery system.

Did you check Milwaukee inverter? Pretty sure it's pure sine

I will likely grab one of these when they have a built in wireless phone charger. A phone charger cable would just get destroyed in my tool bag.
