This is a non locking handle set... So you will need to pair with a matching deadbolt..if you need it for an entrance door

These types are preferred when using a keyless/electronic deadbolt. The last thing you'd want happening if you go keyless is for someone to lock the handleset or knob.

Bought one for each unit front door. Mine was brass colored they painted black and the black is chipping off. The other units are now all electronic deadbolts.

I got this a month or so and matched it with the Tehoo fingerprint deadbolt from amazon I got both for under 50.00.

This handle is good quality, and the mechanisms all work flawlessly.

As most have said it is just a handle no lock which in my case for my disabled son is what I needed.
