I was thinking the same but it looks like the straps are made shorter on purpose so it only fits kids

I bought this and the Daylite 18. It is cute and very basic. Don't think it is worth $40 but $24 is ok. It's very small and meant for 2-6 years old kid.

I know this is a kids backpack but what age range is this typically for? Use is for an elementary school kid and occasionally for single day excursions.

FWIW I had the same question and watched some youtube reviews and most said in practice it was really more for kids up to 8 or 9 years old.

We bought one for our 6 year old and are going to find something a little bigger for our 9 year old.
