$85 is a joke price. This was an average $30 knife on Amazon for seven straight years.

Agree. People are pushing supposedly deals but I'm glad researchers call them out! Deal Posters should get a "deal rating" to weed them out.

Yup. Its made up BS which is then supported by shills and staff alike. I miss the good ol days of 2009 when deals were deals on this site.

Good price on the cryo blackwash. One of my fav EDC knives. Had the assisted opening spring crack (from playing with it too much) and Kershaw sent a replacement for free.

The whole knife or just the spring? I would be happy for parts alone but if they replaced the whole unit that's pretty good.

I just went thru this on my Volt, use it every day, spring just broke. Went to their site, put in a request for a new spring, had it in my mailbox in 4 days, no charge.

My first knife purchase circa 2012.. still have it but never use it. Way too heavy with the aluminum scale for the size, and 8cr dulls soooo quickly

It hit $20 once back in 2015, otherwise it's twice that right now.

50% off current price, so I'd say a pretty solid deal.

You could definitely do worse for $20; you get the Kershaw name, a great warranty, and a decent spec (steel handle/frame lock/assisted opening/8Cr). I usually prefer liner lock or button lock knives, but unlike bargain "micro" brands, Kershaw's frame lock knives are designed well.

You have to pay for shipping but Kershaw sharpens your knives for free. Which seems a little silly but you can send a bunch at once for not a lot of money.

I keep buying them to get more value per knife doing that. Yes, I understand that makes no financial sense.

I'm still waiting for the day when real knifes are more expensive than virtual ones.
