I'm a huge proponent of LFP (new) over NCM (old) chemistry, but this is still a good deal per Wh. A Delta 2 Max and Delta 2 Max Extra Battery combo is $1000 more than this. I highly doubt the average user will notice any significant difference. If you are a power user and wanting to power a lot of stuff over a long time you're probably better off with a Delta Pro.

Delta 2 Max + EB cost per Wh: $0.66/Wh
This deal: $0.45/Wh

At 800 cycles, if you goes thru 100% to 0% everyday, it will last more than 2 years and you will be at 80% battery capacity. Battery still work, just 20% less capacity.

If you goes thru 100% to 0% every other day, it will last you 4 years.

I think it still a good investment

both of the linked refurb options below direct from ecoflow, compete nicely price wise with this promo. plus you get a 5 year warranty when you register either link with the vendor on their website. i've confirmed this in writing with them. refurbs have been well received by many of the delta facebook page.

I thought it would be more like 20% decrease, not 80%, but I have been known to be wrong.

I have the Delta 2 (lifepo4) and the Delta mini (ncm battery) the mini's battery capacity has diminished. Since June I have charged and discharged this unit twice a day. At first it was holding charge all day with small fridge and small freezer discharging it as it was set to discharge down to 5% . Big mistake. It quickly lost capacity. If you plan on using these devices for everyday like I do, you have to question the overall capacity. First of all none of these units are truly not what they say they are. If it says 1000wh, you can only expect 80-90% of that. Second is the discharge limit. If you want to get the most out of your batteries discharge to 20, 30, 40, 50% only. A 1000wh battery starts out at a true only 850wh. Discharge to 20% and the real capacity is only 680wh. A 12v 1280wh (true 1280wh) 100a lifepo4 automotive style battery can be had for $250. 1500 watt dc to ac pure sine wave inverter $200. Lifepo4 40 amp 12v battery charger $200 (2hr 15 min charge time from 0) or 40 amp solar charge controller ($120) and 4 100 watt solar panels less than $400. $50 or less for fuse and cables while all this can be mounted on a two wheel dolly for portability or storage tote, or camp box (except panels). More battery capacity, only $250 more for true 2.5kw, and so on. No apps or information swapping. No calls for support or updates. This is the way to go.

So it's .66/wh @ 3500 charge cycle vs .45/wh @800 charge cycle.

If you do the math, you get so much more on the Delta2 Max. Not to mention the new features like dual mppt solar charge input, quiter fans, safer non-explosive battery chemistry and many others.

Agreed. I also wanted to point out something that most do not. These systems will charge the other unit. So it will go through the cycles without you knowing it if you use it as a UPS/EPS.

Not a great deal. Like a previous user posted, buy a newer model with updated battery chemistry. If you're spending 1800$ just buy a delta pro refurbished. Higher output (and input). Lots of sales coming so prices likely going even lower Black Friday.

Are people connecting these to power your entire house during an outage? Or are you running extension cords from key appliances only, like a fridge/freezer? If connecting to the entire home, how easy is that to do?
