They must be clearing this model out for a new updated model given the long term markdowns? Anyone know what's coming out to replace it?

Update: Thanks and repped, I just placed an order, I see this deal is another $10 off plus an impact socket set. Not sure if I'll keep it, I was waiting for the 262 with less torque but smaller, but this deal is only good for a few more hours.

Wow, good deal on a pretty torquey wrench.
I have this and it's great. Plenty of power and the automatic feature keeps you from spinning lugs all over the floor. Beware it's pretty sizable and heavy compared to something like the P262 so it won't fit into every place that one will.

Bought this gun last year. From lug nuts to lag bolts. This thing has laughed at everything I've put in front of it.

Damn I should have waited, I haven't even used mine yet from the last deal. I don't really need another socket set but I do like free stuff..

Used my P261 to remove lug nuts on Sunday, and it struggled and barely got them off with a full 3A battery.

Don't really need this, but I also don't want weak tools in my garage.

EDIT: Well I got it.

Just return the one from August and pick this one up.

Nevermind, out of stock.

Use a 4ah or more on the P261 (or just about any impact). Even the monster in this deal showed better torque numbers with a much larger battery vs a smaller (known standout 4ah) battery.
TTC on YouTube was told by Ryobi to use a 9ah battery in the impact and they made better torque numbers with that vs the standout 4ah they normally use. In some cases much better.

There is room for both tools though. The P261 and P262 are much smaller/lighter than the high-torque impact in this thread and will fit into places that this one can't. They are also rated for roughly 1/4 (P261) to 1/2 (P262) of the power of the impact in this thread so it's not really a fair comparison. Totally different weight class for totally different situations.

You will not regret having both. But IMO put at least a 4ah on everything.

If you haven't used it, it's not even close to the p261, much bigger and TONS of power.

This is a good impact. I use mine all the time. Got this model earlier this year with a battery deal for a net price of $99 after returning the batteries. Maybe even a little less.

Was able to order one just now. If it comes, I'm returning the August order.

Thank you! Paid 160 2 weeks ago for the same impact without the sockets.
