Don't know why you got a thumbs down. I would be happy to buy these again at full price. They are magnificent cans for the money. I've put more hours on my pair of XS in the last year since I bought them than all other cans I own combined.

My only comparison was at CanJam SoCal last year, on a noisy show floor. I tried the XS, Ananda and Arya Stealth and while the Arya sounded the best, I couldn't justify over twice the price.

The Ananda vs the XS was too close to call in that noisy environment. I would have to A/B test them in a quiet room to have a better base of comparison.

The fact the XS and Ananda are within $20 of each other now blows my mind.

In the end I don't think you can go wrong with either, unless you are looking for a very particular sound signature.

From my research, the Ananda Stealth are the better headphones overall in terms of sound, though some may prefer the sound signature of the XS. In terms of comfort, it depends. The Ananda has a better headband than the XS but the XS has cup swivel that the Ananda doesn't have.
