One thing that has me scratching my head in confusion in this day and age with 2.5 form factor SSD drive prices becoming more common in builds (cheaper, just overall better than mechanical drives if you don't need say a cheap 4 TB or bigger drive) why phanteks hasn't bothered to make the optional hard drive brackets capable of mounting 2.5 form factor ssd drives as well as the mechanical drives like say the drive bay cage in the Lian Li 216 case (which is admittedly more expensive - I guess that's my answer?) ... it's true that a metal bracket to pop into a 3.5 drive bay is only like $7 or so at amazon but that still just adds needlessly to the cost. If you're like me you have extra 250 GB older ssd drives that will work just fine for say as a game drive or windows backups that you'd like to go on using.
As the manufacturer's "spec sheet" linked above states you can always just mount two of your 2.5 ssd drives on the metal "wall" behind the motherboard, same place you'd route the cables in if memory serves me correctly.

I own this case, and that is where my sole 2.5" is mounted.
i recently mounted a 420mm aio on the top of that case, it's thick and it's pretty ugly
There are mounts for 2 3.5" drives under the PSU shroud.
Then there are 4 expansion bays where you have to buy the Phanteks drive tray. Drive mounts to it and then the tray mounts in a vertical row in front of the fans. Plenty of room between trays for airflow
Its a great case to build in, stays cool, great cable mgmt - as someone else mentioned the only fault is no USB-C on the top/front.
I have the old version of this case and it's good just wish it had type c on the front.
Youtube has a full 1 hour walkthrough and build of this case as well , if anyone was building for the first time etc.
Great case, even a better price now, good brand.
btw I have a 3900x (portable heater) with a sycthe fuma cooler in this build and VRMs are fine!
Gamers Nexus rated this case in top 3 (I believe few year old video) among 25 cases at the time.
for gaming I use the from USB C for HyperX Cloud Mix headset.
