yes. i know. cheaper generic rice cookers out there can do under 15 min. for some reasons with the new tech of fuzzy logic. it requires longer time to cook
stick with Zojirushi or Tiger instead, preferably a made in japan model

Cooking time will be same, but it's better to use smaller rice cooker for smaller portion.
