Just had a price alert go off and picked it up. Have been waiting for it to go down below 250. Wish it was closer to 200 but at least based on youtube etc. reviews still a better option than Rode Wireless and Hollywood Lark Max given the form factor, convenience and features. Will see how it really is ...

Is this clearance because a new model is coming out for the holidays? This model has been out for a couple of years. Did a search, didn't see any announcement of a new model coming out... but from a timing perspective, it would seem to make sense.

I guess 32 bit support, windscreen accomodation in case, lockable lav connection are pretty much over due. Improvements in sound quality, battery life, camera cabling and form factor should be welcome as well after all these years.
