Picked this up last week at Costco for $12. The cookies are okay, don't really see the hype on these. Powdered sugar gets everywhere and the pecans are super sweet.

80 calories per cookie if anyone cares about that

These are currently 11.99 at Costco (California), so unless these arrived smashed from shipping, they're the better deal.

Plus, at least for me, I was offered $1 in digital credits if I opted for No Rush Shipping on my first delivery.

You were on the money. At least 1/4 were sandy crumbs. A real disappointment. There's no way you could give these as gifts.

Ahhh I would pass on buying this from Amazon. I got in on these last year and all the cookies came broken and more than half were crumbled up into small pieces. The couple I tried tasted alright but these are way too delicate for shipping.

I love aldi as much as the next person, and I love those shortbread cookies but they are not the same product as David's. David's are smaller and softer, and the tin makes them suitable for gifting.

Powered sugar is messy it it's to be expected. They tasted ok but dry that leaves your mouth begging for water or milk. Our Costco was originally selling for $19.99., now selling two for $39.99.

Ordered 3 large tins. Got 1 round large tin, and 2 smaller square tins.

I'm giving the smaller ones as gifts so it's ok.

Also, these were delivered by USPS. My cookies were in good shape and yummy.

Anybody that received these and hasn't opened their package they may want to. The box they are packed in for mine was correct along with the sticker on it says 32oz from David's cookies but inside they were only 16 oz packages
