I haven't actually tested/measured, but mine seems pretty darn accurate. I can see which side of the street I was running on and whenn I cross
Great deal on a good watch. I think they may be clearing these out. Why? Two months or so back I looked at warranty exchanging my wife's with a dead battery. IIRC they wanted $100+ for the swap. Well, I check back last week and they wanted $0! I took it obviously and she has the reman watch on now.

Do you know if I can preemptively change my battery for free? Not sure how the process goes. I got my watch less than a year ago
Maybe. But Garmin has a $150 watch called Bounce specifically for that. The downside with the Bounce is you must subscribe to their LTE service at $10/mo, which is possible more expensive than a smartwatch data plan from your phone company.

Note that the 4s is a smaller sized watch intended mostly for women. Also this model is 4 years old. The Vivoactive 5 was released this year with more features and upgraded hardware. The $350 retail price is from 4 years ago, these have been mostly selling for under $200 this year.
It has the mips screen and I like it better than the AMOLED. The display is always on and doesn't use extra battery like the AMOLED would.
Yep, agree 100%. I have 3 of these for family (myself included) and the transreflective screen is great. It's easily readable in direct sunlight but also backlit for darker times.

That's why if I ever upgrade to a forerunner I would want to go with the 955 over the 965 since they are taking away mips on all the new devices. If the vivoactive 5 has better battery than the 4 with an AMOLED screen imagine the 5 with a mips screen. I would actually be interested in that.
