I almost bit on this one, but living in Western NY it's got to be able to tolerate freezing temps and horrendous weather. According to Vissani Customer Care in the Q&A on Home Depot page it has a minimum operating temp of 32F.

I couldn't find temp rating in the available documentation. Maybe it would work, earlier in the Q&A Customer Care did say that it is usable in Pennsylvania but that answer about min temp has me shook.

ilive in southern/central connecticut and have been leaving my cheaper (regular price 125-175) out doors all winter, shut off not runnng for years--they usually last me 6-7 years--my question is what would make the regular price on this so high?--the warranty doesnt look great with all of the restrictions ND ITS NOT COMMERCIALLY RATED?

Yeah, I was actually thinking that, I bet it would survive, I was just worried that they kind of designed it for Florida outdoor kitchens and might not tolerate the freezing rain around here. I've had fridges in the garage forever that I just leave running all winter and temps drop well below 32. The big thing making me not want to go for it is that things are built so cheaply now that I'd be worried that it can't deal with snow/sleet/freezing rain. I gotta keep thinking about it, I just don't wanna have a 65 pound boat anchor after 2 years Smilie

If that's really a normally $400+ unit, maybe it's not built quite as cheaply as I'm imagining but that price just don't look right to me

In had this built in my outdoor kitchen in my last house. Direct sunlight in afternoon in Texas and still did a great job keeping drinks cold. In freezing weather and winter, I just unplugged it. Ordered another one for the new house. Great deal on this !

Also, make sure to inspect it when it arrives. They sent me 2 damaged fridges the first time. Note, this is a $160 fridge 😜, if you want one that can stand anything… you will pay $1k or more

At $164, this 4.4 cu. ft. outdoor fridge is cheaper than a "regular" 4.4. cu. ft mini fridge (Hisense, Magic Chef, Midea all cost more at HD and Lowe's).

By regular, he means indoor ones. This being an outdoor fridge it comes more equipped and capable.
