Returning the JBL Soundbar from a deal that was posted about a month back. Sound was too tinny/muffled for me. I guess I got what I paid for. Hopefully this sounds much better.
Overall good soundbar, own one, very good central channel, but...hate to say it's got poor bass at low volumes, you really gotta turn it up to get some, even at max +bass setting (subwoofer is pretty powerful tho, at high volume bass is deep, clear and powerful) another thing, can't add additional speakers(
I have an 8 year old Sony Soundbar with wireless sub and I have been having issues with the subwoofer for a while now. Constantly going in and out and sometimes not turning on or crackling. It never gets turned up too loud either. Wish I could get another subwoofer for it and call it a day.
I'm not a sound guy, so sorry about my ignorance. Does the Atmos and vertical sound stuff equal out to a better experience than a simple 5.1 system without those, like this guy?
My situation is that I have a very small media room, with a giant TV taking up 1 wall. It's right below my toddlers room so I always keep volume down. Looking for something better than my TV's built-in that could get me better sound that I can still hear at a relatively low volume.

The vertical height engine is decent but not the same as channels that shoot up. Sony imo is still the best when it comes to audio.
