Naw. Used Oocoopa hand warmers for years, they've saved our butts on trips a LOT. Made Japan at Xmas last year bearable. They work fine and to my knowledge I'm not dead from a fire yet.
The first red flag are all the Amazon vine reviews. I am an Amazon Vine number and we all know that if you give a negative review you don't get free stuff so any reviews from Amazon buying should be automatically ignored. This looks like Chinese junk that could potentially burn your house down with inferior battery inside while charging.
Not sure what your talking about, I'm a vine reviewer, actually reviewed this product a year ago, and just bought another one. I have reviewed many things and yes the reviews are generally more positive because I don't consider value for price there's many things I've reviewed that there's no way I'd have paid full price for, including this. I don't review better to get better items because of I think what they offer depends more on purchase history and writing reviews people vote helpful.

Works ok. There is an outer removable shell that's the hand warmer part. If you just want to use the charger, you can remove the shell to make the device smaller. Only thing I don't like is, to use the charger, you have to re-plug your cord, ie, can't hit the power button to start charging.

Was looking at the 9000 mAH. But 10K design looks much more sturdier. I intend to use it as a portable heat pack for muscle ache (point pain). Reading more reviews to see its use case. Would appreciate if someone has experience.

I haven't used for spot heating, but it does heat up almost instantly. Within 6 seconds, I could feel it warming. By 1 minute, it's hot! I like that it has 4 heat level settings...and it doubles as a USB charger for my phone.

Some reviews state the 9000 has higher mAh than the 10,000 when tested. I have one of each and love them both. The 9000 lasts about 9 hours on low.

Not sure why someone wouldn't just wear gloves or minutes. Seems like a good deal. I just don't know the intended use for this

there are some situations where wearing gloves is not possible. sometimes i need dexterity or feel my way around while working outdoor.
this is exactly what i want but i have a bunch of Ankers. gonna find if there's anything for my Ankers now instead of buying another pack
