The reason Amazon has a "coupon" is because Samsung dictates the price. I bought the T7 Shield directly from Samsung for $199 a couple weeks ago during the Amazon/Best Buy discounts and was able to get over $40 back by using a CB site, education discount (EPP), and Chase Freedom rewards (Paypal).
T7 Shield has a shorter warranty than the plain T9 because the T7 Shield is built rugged. It's a fantastic SSD, unexpectedly small, and the most that 95% of users currently need or could use. GL.

Note for mac users - due to the way Apple currently implements USB there will be no discernible increase in speed for you with the T9 - stick with the T7 line and save some money.
