It's actually $100.49 with the coupon code TREAT15

Also, the link directly to the guitar in question is here: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=610038

I've been messaging with this poor guy on Facebook Marketplace who has one of these for sale, exact model, he started at $250, I keep sending him the deal links and he keeps dropping his price and cursing. but he's still above what Monoprice is charging.

Ed: Unfortunately for me they dropped the price. So you'll pay $172 with them or I'll sell you mine for $150

I got their blonde Tele for $56 a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised, might have to go for one of these also. Thanks, OP.

out of stock now, though I wonder if there's something going on, as all the guitars are out of stock - website issue? going out of the guitar business?

I was just wondering the same. All colors of all of their cheaper guitars are now out of stock. I'd even opted into the "e-mail me when more arrive" option, and just got an email about one of them saying that it has been permanently discontinued.

Really hoping that this isn't a sign that Monoprice is abandoning the guitar market!

That said - the "Donner" brand guitars available on Amazon and elsewhere seem very similar, and might be coming off the same line. Haven't pulled one apart to investigate yet, but if you need a cheap axe in the meantime, worth a look.

Several of the out of stock guitars have a 10/31 ETA for new stock. They just don't have a constant inventory.

I did get a "We will no longer carry this item" on the electric drum kit. Which I would have caught that $80 closeout price.

Same here, I put flatwounds on it and it sounds fantastic. I recently added the semi hollow and offset with P90s and been playing both daily.

I've bought 3 Indio guitars in the last 2 months. My wife is gently suggesting that I should learn to play at least one of them before I buy anymore

I actually have been trying to practice 45 minutes everyday. I don't have much natural talent, but I'm trying. I bought the Fender Play course when it was on sale for $15 a while back. I also bought a Cube Baby and a headphone amp so no one else has to listen to all my mistakes😃.

You're doing fine, also I really recommend checking out Justin's videos:

https://www.justinguitar.com/clas...-grade-one

Even if you aren't interested in the songs he demos (I wasn't), following his videos certainly helps get your fingers used to playing guitar.

I bought the $15 fender play subscription too, and I really wish I hadn't lol.

Seriously though, take your time and try to enjoy yourself and work towards stuff you want to play. I'm a bit all over the place with that myself. Stuff I've tried over the past year with varying levels of success:

1. George Benson - Affirmation. (I am actually somewhat satisfied with how I play parts of that lol)
2. Stan Getz - Girl from Ipanema. (I got nowhere)
3. Some random flamenco strumming patterns from the gipsy kings
4. Misty (just barely getting started)
5. Santana - Samba Pa Ti (lots of fun!)... also just barely getting started!

Then there's Jens Larsen's videos on jazz riffs and getting started. I like those as well, but it's a bit of a jump from the justin guitar videos.

Ah I don't know why you're worried though. If you're worried your guitar might be holding you back after buying several, I'd recommend going to a music store or two and trying different instruments. That or maybe find a guitar lesson teacher that can help give you some pointers in your self-learning journey. I've never tried that, but I hear it can help sometimes.
