Note that Highway 1 (PCH) to Big Sur is closed for some travelers.

Been here. For the views in the surroundings alone, it's worth it. They're located right near the Pfeiffer Beach which is the most amazing beach (Purple Sand). But apart from that, the lodge itself is located near a river and leads to different trails and great hiking spots around. Unfortunately due to roads being close I couldn't access this place this June but seeing this deal gives me hope that route 1 is getting back to normal again.

The closure link above says the detour adds 35min, which for anyone from LA should be nothing compared to daily commuting in LA. 🤣

Again as someone said, if you're being serious, stayed there in the past. The deluxe king room is very big and can accommodate 7 if they're willing to sleep on the floor. You just have to collect the keys from the main office and then you have different roads leading you to the individual rooms. It's not like a building, but an independent small condominium style houses. You'll be fine
