$5.99 shipping.
Microsd slot is in easily accessible location which is NOT a good thing for a doorbell cam.

I think this IS full retail price.
The "deal" which OP didn't mention is $10 future Wyze credit with purchase.

Offers do not apply to extended warranties. Promotional codes do not apply to Buy With Prime orders. Wyze reserves the right to modify or terminate this promotion at any time without advance notice.
Add the 3 pack cam pan to get you over $100 or even $200. At checkout you might get 25% or 30% off . Claim coupon go back to cart and remove items except your doorbell v2 then submit order.
You might need to leave the $100/$200 worth of items in cart to let it simmer for the algorithm. Check back once or twice a day or whenever you use the app to see if coupon shows up. It's an art trying to get the algorithm to enable the coupon…good hunting 🐳
Note: Be aware that the microSD card is in an unsecured slot conveniently on the upper right side of the device. In case anybody needs an extra card for something else...
I believe this also HAS to be utilized in set ups where you still use a chime box. I actually had to re-wire completely to bypass the chime box because of a variety of old wiring issues etc.
It seems like this unit ONLY will sound with a chime box and doesnt have an option to just use the plug in chime.
I have no idea why Wyze would do that - it seems inexplicable why they would not just allow it to work both ways, but they make weird choices at times it seems. Really just want this for the SD card capability.
This is probably rudimentary, but I have a 65+ year old home with a 65+ year old doorbell and chime (and a low-voltage electrical system), do I need to do anything extra in order to power this thing?

Look at your door bell ringer and see if it lists a voltage. This is only compatible with 16-24 volt

You can skip the chime box and only have phone/Alexa chime, as long as the doorbell is getting 16-24V AC from a dedicated transformer.
I just installed this today and it rings my mechanical chime without needing to install the controller. Not sure how, but I'm not complaining.
It's basically a Wyze v3/v3Pro in doorbell form, as far as lens/sensor/hardware goes. (2k res like the Pro, with 130 degree viewing angle like non-Pro)

I do like that they've added local storage for longer playback without a subscription
