Someone needs to just undercut these school photography companies. Take digital photos and sign an exclusive deal with a photo printing company for special rates. $35 for 20 photos is about what they charge on cruise lines.

Worked great for me. I used FALLSAVINGS, S23SHIP10, SAVEFIVE to buy the lowest priced package ($26.99/ea) for 2 kids. Final price is $39.78 after tax.

Peculiar, but the lowest priced package includes prints (along with digital copy) but the "digital only" package costs more (includes choice of background and "retouching"). There's no way to just get a basic digital picture with no BS.

Ugh Lifescam. How they got so widespread is beyond me. My school district changed to another company but they're basically just Lifescam 2.0. Well I'll give them some credit for including some props for the kids to use and having photographers that pose them a bit. That reminds me.. santa mall scam season incoming too. Bleh.

Owned by Shutterfly since 2018. I don't know if they still give kickbacks to the schools as kind of a fundraiser type situation but that would make the insane pricing a little easier to swallow - though it should really be declared that that is happening.
