if you're going to pay for a checked bag, might as well wait for a deal for a larger bag. there's a version of this with interior dimensions of 28.75 x 19.25 x 12.5 Inches

Likely because it's an odd size. Too big for carry on and too small to check in (of course you can still check this in, but might be hard to stuff 40-50lbs in it 🤷).

Why is the 25" cheaper than the 19" or 21"

This is a bit heavy for medium polycarbonate luggage. Ideally you should look for one around 8.5 lbs.

There are other delsey options. Great deal on the Paris 2.0, but odd size.

Yep, I never buy this size. No point. (But I'm a guy, and as much as I try, I don't travel light.)

Depends on how you pack. I can pack a 2 week trip into a 25" suitcase, 20" carryon, and a backpack with plenty of clothes/shoes. Smart packing +/- compression bags go a long way. But I guess it depends how many you are packing for.

I bought the cloth Delsey's from Costco about 18 months ago.... both the check in and checked bag have been on north of 50,000 airline miles of adventures... several TAs... dozens of domestic trips.... Has held up remarkably well and still look new. Granted, I usually hand carry the luggage and try to use the rollers as little as possible.

THIS WILL NOT WORK internationally for overhead or you will have to check your luggage. you need the 19in.

I would say 25 is the most standard check in size there is.

The problem with the 29" size is 1.) if you fill it up, you will most likely go over the 50lbs limit. and 2.) the physical size may be considered oversized with some airlines, especially the cheaper ones or international ones.

You must not travel much. I would say the 25 inch size is the most popular check in size there is from looking at the luggages on the conveyor belt.

The title literally says 25" checked luggage. Why would anyone even think about carrying this one? You can't even fit this through security check let alone overhead bin.

Because it's not carry-on they know they have more people buying the carry-on due to not needing to check the bag
