Cheapest new 4060 deal around but the sacrifces are just too much to get to this price point to me. The screen is that poverty laptop level at 250 nit/very low color gamut which belongs more on a sub $600 "gaming" laptop and a 75w 4060 means you're leaving quite a bit of performance on the table for that 4060. Really want to see at least 100-105w for that 4050-4060 range to get most out of it. Laptop 4050-4070 range doesnt need a ton of power like some previous gens but it does need a solid 100-105w to really hit its peak, but at just 75w you're giving away probably 20% performance or so on the 4060/4070 and stil lsome on the 4050.
The 4080/4090 on the other hand get way way faster at 140-170w vs. 105w. So if you're going up to one of those on a laptop make sure it's much higher wattage. Even at 150w they are way faster than any wattage 4070 because its just a huge jump up in performance but still leaving a TON of performance on the table with a 105w 4080/4090.

Much better deal than that Acer Predator Helios based on specs alone, but how good is the rest of the laptop?
I disagree. This has a bottom of the barrel display, while the Acer is very nice. The Acer will game about the same due to the power limit on this laptop's 4060. The Acer also has a fast processor, but the HX models have poor battery life.

To be clear you want the lower number to be that high. They usually list the max (boost) wattage which only happens when the CPU is near idle. A GPU with 75W max will run at 50-60W when gaming.
Generally you'll see some performance loss if the GPU doesn't boost to 115-125W at least.

Spoiler: the 75W limitation of this 4060 means it performs like a 4050 and is only an advantage in situations where the extra VRAM is a bonus.
