G series does not have a stand - it must be wall mounted. B and C come with stands but may be wall mounted.
I'll put it like this:

B-Series - Person who wants "the best" but isn't going to fill up their HDMI slots as only two ports are 2.1, which only matters to console gamers at the time WITH the best consoles (Xbox Series X/PS5)

C- Series - Person who is afraid that one day even the new Nintendo console will use 2.1, and wishes to prepare themselves a bit deeper into the future.

G-Series - Person who wants "the best of the best" panel + ATSC 3.0 tuner, which can one day provide 4K content via antenna (which is so damn far away)...but my market is doing 1080p which is life changing for sports.

I would buy this 9/10 times if I were a regular person. I got an eye popping deal on a G2 in May at this size and I'm good for 5+ years, but I've been on the hunt for replacing my bedroom TV so around April to July I'm going to be stalking the price of the B3 in hopes it hits about 1k-1.2k so I can grab it

Note: all of this to type YES, this is the deal at this size as nobody is going to put out the C series this cheap for BF as they know folks are still buying it with marginal discounts
This is why we can't have nice things.

Don't buy LG OLED . 3 years in..already having issues with some power board crap. Clicking sounds when off and won't turn on at times. And no..it's not pixel refresher
Perhaps you got a lemon?

I have a 2017 LG B7 and 2018 LG C8.

Both work great, no issues, no burn in. I highly recommend.

Since the TV qualifies for Costco Direct, you can get a SunVilla firepit for $100 after savings. Smilie

Considering upgrading my 55 C2. Need a bigger TV. I can't justify G series as it's too costly. Will this B3 feel like a downgrade from a C2 in terms of picture quality?
I've had LG B's and C's and I'm no videophile--no difference to me. Maybe noticeably better motion processing, but that's very personal.

I bought it from costco 2 months back. Would costco be able to adjust the price?

Edit: looks like it's only within 30 days
I just did a chat and got $200 back. Got mine two months ago also.

Thanks for details. I just watch movies(bluray and 4k on apple tv). I am not pro gamer but I have ps5. I don't have high expectations, I need a tv for next 5 years. Is b3 fine for me? I was thinking c3 or g3 but looks they are meaningless for me.
You could wait for a C3 but that would hit around April-July, with with late July until Sept being that "Super YMMV" range. I'm a firm believer that if you don't need something today, just wait until tomorrow....BUT don't get caught in a cycle unless you truly don't care.

If buying something today, I'd buy the B3 without hesitation.

Do you know about the stands on different models? If the plan is to put it on a stand vs mounting it on the wall is one better than the other? Thanks!
The G Series doesn't come with a stand, but you could get a B/C stand to fit it (I believe). To note, the wall mount they use is comically easy and I thought I was over-thinking it.

I never liked how the stands looked so I can't attest to how any of these look with a stand on, BUT, I'd assume LG sells the same stand they use for the G, and if so, I'd go that route. Again, COMICALLY easy vs many of the wall mount stands I've used AND very low profile.

I bet Amazon got a knockoff...

B3 is the best bang for buck. The C3 is super minor difference in PQ and 2 more HDMI 2.1 ports. Not worth it for vast majority tyhe price diff

The B3 only has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and of course they the eArc on 1 of them. I wish the eArc was on another HDMI 2.0 port.
I thought the B3 has all 2.1 whereas the B2 had only 2. The specificiations on the site says 2.1 for all ports.

The B2 is not from 2017. It was the B7 as I have one.
Sorry. You're right. It's the B7 that I have, with a replacement panel because the original had burn in after about a couple of years. So the panel is probably a "C2" maybe? The replacement was done in 2020.
