I have this device and been using it for more than a year, and I this is the least reliable Homekit accessory in my house. It will randomly disconnect from wifi, and it simply won't connect back until I pull it out of the wall (or turn off its breaker), let the internal battery fully drain, and then put it back on. I would never recommend it. In fact, I'm thinking about replacing it with the new Aqara door bell (Aqara sensors are some of the most reliable Homekit acccessories in my house).

Also, my Aqara devices regularly get new firmware updates, but this Wemo doorbell haven't received even one single update since I installed it.

Don't have this doorbell but I'd stay away from Wemo altogether. They constantly lose connection (specially if you have a mesh Wi-Fi) and they are overpriced.
