I've been wanting to pick this up and try it for a while now but @ $70-80, I just never did.
As soon as I saw your post, I went ahead and created a new throw-away QVC account and ordered.
I've been using another cordless flosser that I got off Amazon (for ~$20) for a few months. It seems to work well and lasts a good three weeks before needing to be re-charged.
Note: for those who think these things are wet & messy, with water going everywhere, you're right! I use mine in the shower, with my shaving mirror to see what I'm doing...and don't even worry about it. I tried over the sink but the water goes everywhere - I'll try it over the sink again with this Philips one...but I'm guessing I'll have the same issue and just continue to use it in the shower.
I'm actually looking forward to going to my next dental cleaning. They better tell me my teeth are in great shape as they've been preaching to me for a while now to buy one of these things.
Between a Sonicare Diamond toothbrush, regular flossing, and now a cordless water pic...I can't wait to see my hygienists!
Rep's to Op and a Thumbs Up.
This should be front page at this price point & Philips Rebates have never been a problem for me.
One last thing Op - You can now stop using that hook to clean your teeth!
