I have one and my god is this thing so damn heavy. On its own it's reasonable, but the battery is a whole another beast and you probably don't want to carry it around for more than a few minutes.

Pretty good price, get a shoulder strap if you plan on using this for extended periods, turbo mode will eat thru batteries-10ish minutes on 5.0 ah.

Looks like it's the lowest ever on 3camels, but does anyone know if Ego typically discounts their blowers more heavily as we hit fall/winter that might take it much lower?

I have the 650cfm version of this, and with a 5.0 or 7.5 battery it does add weight, but regardless with either battery they are still lighter than a gas powered unit, fully fueled up with gasoline and oil mixed. You can buy a shoulder strap to make it easier to use !! I have one and it works great. No messy gasoline or oil or hot engines to worry about. This is a great deal for the battery too. 5.0 is good size battery.

Maybe on Black Friday, but you never know, I can say this is an excellent price right now, even if you get it just to add another battery to your collection.

Nice price! I have this model, upgraded from the 650. It is more powerful, less noisy, and has better controls. I compared this to my 725 CFM electric blower, and it performed about 90% as well. So, comparatively, it is more like a 650 than a 765. That being said, it is still an awesome blower and can handle just about anything. Not having to drag the cord around was a huge deal for me, as I had to use 250' of cord on my electric. With that length, the power drops so in the end the 765 is about the same when using at a distance. As mentioned, make sure to use the strap, as that 5AM battery is super heavy. Speaking of battery, I get a good 30 min on a charge, and that is with using the turbo button a bunch of times. In reality, the 650 did not really get any more runtime.... probably because I had to hit the turbo more.

I had picked up a refurbished Hitachi RB24EAP starts on one pull and I bought it 10 years ago. Gets used several days a week.

Not sure I'm convinced on the battery blower just yet. Convince me otherwise, the price still seems too high.

Ego Weed Wacker for sure but the blower is meh compared to gas ones in terms of runtime and weight.

I prefer two 2.5Ah for blowing, swapping battery with turbo or using dual hand blowers. However it's nice to have some extra punch in the 5Ah for the hedge trimmer and back up to my 7.5A mower. Had to bring my batteries in from the cold this week.

Was just recently researching the hell out of these in my own switch from gas to electric. This particular 765 model is the strongest in the market, but I ultimately went with the 80v greenworks that Costco sells. It's less expensive (and also happens to be on sale right now too) and if purchased through Costco, the battery warranty can be upped to 8 years if registered which is really insane assuming greenworks is still around to honor that warranty. Plenty strong too. I think it ranked just below this model in terms of cfm.

I'm currently using 2 lighter and less-powered ryobi's at the same time (one in each hand) and I think it's a lot faster than running one big heavy one. Anyone else do this?
