to some, this wouldn't be an upgrade to yours. 170 vs 144hz is probably not even noticeable. I can't even tell 144hz vs 120hz

Debating between this one, the Costco G271CQR at $170, and VG27AQ3A for $210.

The biggest factor seems to be the benefit of an IPS panel in the VG27AQ3A. I'd be using it for console gaming only (Xbox Series S) about 22" away.

Does anyone have experience with these?

I have an Acer 27 incher with IPS panel at 144hz, non curved. Should I upgrade to this?

No. Your monitor does 144hz. It is overkill for consoles and anything more is not necessary for most pc situations

I mean monitors have very specific specs.

Those "it's a VA panel" or "it's 60hz" type comments are a result of ppl posting deals that don't include very important information about said monitor.

It's kind of stupid to not nitpick a monitor based on it's specs. 🤷

If money it's the isn't the issue, then MSI Oculux NXG253R 360hz. If you want a budget good monitor, then Dell S2522HG 240hz.

I've been happy with my Alienware monitor 360hz that I got when it was on sale for ~$200 from Best Buy. The only thing I did not like is the bulky stand on the back, but that's where you can hide the cords.

the Microcenter HyperX @ $180 (-$25 coupon) is a better deal, IMO. It's 400nits IPS and NOT curved. Plus, stand mounted means more desktop space.
