I received iPhone 13 today from walmart..
After inserting the SIM card and activating it, I chatted with Verizon.
The first agent refused the payoff and said it would be possible in 14 days.
The second agent sent me the URL right away and I paid $299.
Then I cancel line. I need 60days for unlock.
I tried to do it with an iPhone 14 in walmart.com when I saw this deal. It asked me to login to my Verizon (I'm with vzn), and asked for permission to pull credit. I declined. I think anything with a payment plan will need a credit check.
Though this is 36 months contract , but once you activate the line, you can pay off it via chat rep or in cash in verizon store . Once phone is paid , you can cancel the line with in 3 days to avoid activation / upgrade fees. Wait for 60 days to unlock the device.

THIS IS NOT MONTHLY CREDITS. AMOUNT FINANCED will be $299 or $99 , depends which phone you select.

I chat with the verizon cs (3 different cs). there is no way you can pay off the phone now. you have to wait for 1 month. after 1 month, you will have that option to pay off the device. The only option you can cut down the cost is to suspend your verizon line, wait 1 month until the pay off device active then pay off the device and cancel the line. if anyone out there have a better option. please share thanks.
I just called the 1800 number and paid off and cancelled the line by chatting with a rep

after i filled out all my info including ssn, there's a loading page and then it says finance not eligible. I guess there should be a plan selection as next step?

There's over 100 pages now:. Going to try to provide some tips on how to do it via Verizon. I've completed this process on one phone today and started the process on a second phone. Unfortunately I didn't see the info on the new ATT SIM cards working so I have a 60 day lock for the first one.

1) You have to note the phone number, email, billing zip code, and PIN provided at checkout at Walmart. If you don't, I don't know you can change/access that info ahead of the phone arriving.
2) Your phone won't be activated till it ships. That's when the 3 day activation refund timer starts. If your phone is going to arrive late, chances are you'll have to pay the $35 activation fee?
3) Set up a new Verizon account at Verizon.com, you can do this before the phone arrives. It'll ask to link your phone number number, and then your billing zip code and PIN. Then it'll send you an email to the *original* email registered during the Walmart checkout process to confirm. Note: if you try to register your phone without creating an account first, it won't work because it'll keep wanting to send a confirmation code to your new cell phone number.
4) Once you have created the account, go to Billing -> Documents & Settings, download everything and you'll see your activation date.
5) Go to billing and find the option for autopay. Add a credit card number.
6) Payoff the device using the previously posted instructions:

For those who'd like to pay off the device through the bot, here is what I did:

0. Add credit card account to your Auto Pay payment method.
1. If you haven't received the cellphone, that's okay, just call 8008374966
2. The bot is going to repeat your cell number that is calling from and asking if this is number you are calling about, you can just say no.
3. Then the bot will let you enter the new Verizon phone number.
4. Since I'm calling during out of business hour, the bot is going to help me out and ask for the Pin.
5. The bot is going to let you describe what you are calling about "in one or two sentences"
6. I just said "I'd like to pay off the deivce"
7. The bot said "Alright I can help" and then is going to confirm pay off details including the amount of the dollar and the credit card you are going to use.
8. You simply say Yes and it is done! I received the email immediately.
I did this with two phones successfully. However, for some reason, the first time I called the bot did not do the right thing BOTH TIMES for each phone. I had to hang up and call back again, and say "PAY OFF DEVICE", and then it'll use the autopay CC to pay it off.

9. You can verify that the device is paid off by trying to pay off the device at Verizon. Account -> My Devices -> Pay off Device
10. Wait for phone to arrive. First phone I connected to Verizon, then made a few phone calls. Going to try the ATT trick with the 2nd one.
11. Call 611 from new cell phone. to cancel line. I asked them to waive my activation fee and they said that will be self adjusted later. They couldn't figure out how to do a manual waive. Anyway, gave up and said sure. After a few moments, I checked my account and I only owe $13.xx so it looks the activation should be auto waived if it's within 3 days.

Hope this helps someone, good luck!

Same thing happened to me the first time I attempted to place VZW order. I started the process all over and changed my city. The name of the city I live in changed some years ago. Old city still reflect on majority of my bill and driver's license and all mail no matter if old or new city is listed I still receive it. My suggestion enter exactly how it shows on credit report.

5. just follow the steps it says..( it will tell you that "i am going to use the card on the account or something like that"..just say YES

...make sure you have crediot card on the account.

and chatted with online rep to make sure really paid off..and online rep confirmed..also checked online..now it does not show $299 anymore

chatting with online rep to cancel the line/account
Not sure what's going on with my account. I setup autopay and tried calling about 6 times now. Each time, it sounds like it's about to go through then the bot says their office is now closed. When I try to pay off the device online or in the MyVerizon app, it says my device is already paid off. Anyone else experiencing something similar and have a workaround? Thanks.

Answer is soft yes.

I ordered 2 back to back, went through no problem. Christmas gifts with some leg work on my part I hope.
Can you do 2 or more lines/phones in same transaction or Verizon/Walmart won't allow that?

To anyone still reading this. I was able to SIM swap the AT&T deal.

November 8, I started signing up for an AT&T account but stopped after deciding I wanted to try to get a green phone in store.

November 10, noon. I purchased a 128GB AT&T model in store (only black color was available). I ported in my main number fully expecting to be locked in for 60 days. I had to choose the $75 unlimited starter plan. The guy didn't know why I couldn't get the $65 plan and thought that maybe the discount would have applied when auto pay.

November 10, ~3PM. I saw the phone appear in my AT&T account that I started making on November 8. I might have had to click on the sync phone thing. I couldn't find a bill to pay for the phone though. Everything said bill unavailable.

November 10 ~4PM. I checked in the afternoon and the bill was available. I paid off the $299 using my credit card. I then swapped the SIM from the iPhone 13 to an unlocked iPhone 11 I had from the Metro promotion. I made a few calls and waited a bit and my 11 showed up in my AT&T account.

November 10 11 PM. I tried to unlock the phone using the request form. I was denied because I guess the payment was still in progress.

November 11 9AM. I woke up and tried the unlock again. This time it was a success. I specifically said I'm not an AT&T customer and just entered my IMEI. The phone was unlocked maybe a minute later.

November 11 12PM. I ported out to US Mobile to take advantage of the 50 day trial. No further charges from AT&T. Phone unlocked. Done. Never had to talk to anyone at AT&T.

Bonus: I had a merchant offer on one of my Citi cards that offered $50 off $65 spend at AT&T postpaid. This is the CC I used to pay for the phone. I'm not sure if I'll get it but I'm optimistic. I also have a second CC that offers $75 off of 2x $37.50 AT&T payments. I was going to use that card in case the SIM swap didn't work to mitigate the cost of getting a plan from AT&T.

Thank you, that really helps!!!
I placed an verizon accessory order several days ago and the city came with the automatic address system was the old one and I corrected it manually to the new one.
However, I just double checked my record on experian and equifax both showing the new city name.
Did you tried again right after first time or waited for a while?

Not sure if I'm the only one: my order was marked shipped (Nov 10), but it's with onTrac rather than FedEx, and there's no update since yesterday (the only status is label created), and I can't link the phone number to Verizon account yet. Anyone seeing similar issue? Not sure how it's going to arrive on time by Nov 13 if there's no shipment update

Just tried to place in order for Verizon line. Walmart cancelled the order immediately saying pricing error. Did anyone face this issue?
