Yep. Bought this because I got tired of dealing with gas, transferring clothes, etc.

I was very surprised at how well it worked. But of course, temper your expectations.

You can't FULLY load it. And expect things to dry completely.

I do smaller loads, which is still quite a lot compared to my old GIANT Maytag top loading.

It's quiet, efficient and it's dry when it's all done. The app notifies when it's 5 minutes away from being done. And when it's actually done.

The clothes come out damp feeling but when you expose it to air, it just dries up completely. Weird. But true.

And the clothes are nice and soft. I think the best part is the 32oz of liquid detergent. I set it to auto. And I can do a decent amount of loads.

12-15. Depending on the clothes.

One thing…I did buy a dedicated small battery Ryobi vacuum It makes it easier to vacuum the lint after 1-2 laundry.

Remember. The cleaner the lint basket is. The dryer the clothes come out. So I've made it a habit to just do it every 1-2 loads.

Regular clothes don't produce much lint. It's the blankets, towels and bathroom floor rugs that do.

Just things to consider and think about. I've had it for about 6 months. I'm happy.

I considered putting a second one side by side to do more laundry. Since they do sell a Y site connector for the water intake. But…I'm happy with the one.

I ended up just putting full wall cabinets where the old dry er used to be.
This uses a heat pump to generate heat and remove moisture. So the drying effect is similar to the evaporator in your home AC system, in that it pulls moisture from the air and just sends it to the drain without needing to vent externally. Pretty neat setup, and the reviews I've seen online seem positive about the tech. It also uses MUCH less electricity than a standard dryer. Like 1/4 per load vs. traditional dryer with heating element.
If you are a first responder or government employee, GE offers a 20% discount through their website using ID.me. Their listed price is $2,199, but after the discount shows as $1,759.20 with free shipping (not including your local tax).

No luck when I tried. Similar to Lowes.
Worked for me, $1759.

Their CS say that you can't change the air temp. It's fixed at 160 degrees, which seems pretty high for any delicate stuff.
Oh, this is news to me... hmmm. I was under the impression this unit would be better for clothing longevity, but that definitely makes me rethink buying it. I thought part of the drying mechanism was a lower temp and using 'condensing' method with the heat pump.

It does a full king size comforter. That is American capacity. EU all one ones are 2.4 cubic feet
EU ones are tiny but a traditional electric and gas american dryer is over 7 cf. It's small compared to that.

Actually, LG has a few models already. They came out before GE. Yes, they are cheaper
LG or Korean, American or EU brand does not make anything like this period. All-in-one, American capacity, ventless heatpump, 110v normal outlet hook up, and total load time on parity with 2 traditional units. Just because its "all-in-one" doesn't mean its the same tech or performance, especially in dry time. The only thing that comes close in performance is the LG Wash Tower ventless version, but thats still 2units and 220v. 110v is killer because its makes adoption so easy if you dont have to run a line. Why are do I know this? Just gutted my laundry room and re-designed it all around this GE.

Why worry about gas? Gas is good! Gas is much cheaper than electricity. Plus using gas can release more electricity capacity to avoid having to replace service line with 200Amps (which is like $40k in my area).

- no venting: that also means strong laundry smell in house.
It's not 40k to install a 200 amp service. You must be confused. It's a two day job that costs no more than 3-4k at the high end. Also you couldn't be farther from the truth about laundry smell in the house. I would advise you go learn a little more about heat pumps.

Who cares about how bigger the CF is in seperates, this dries all the clothes it is able to wash. Your thinking is so archaic with CF on seperates. 1 King Comforter is the measure of Amercian capacity, and this can do 1 king comforter. I never decided to dry more clothes my washing unit didnt wash.

Well in my area it's indeed around $40k. Underground trenching. Only PG&E contractor. Permit. etc.

The LG all in one unit is a condensation type. It's not heat pump. Don't get them confused they are different technologies.

The machine itself is great, Costco and GE delivery is absolutely awful. Messed up the delivery dates several times, dropped the unit down the stairs scratching it up, just terrible. Ended up getting a $300 credit because they did such a terrible job!

Do you have a source that I can see if the rebate is available for me?
Check the link the other guy gave you along with googling(insert your state name here) inflation reduction act rebates.

I would bet your state has a website about it and possibly have a timeline on when they will be available. Prob won't be an exact date. My state says sometime in 2024

I have this unit and honestly I don't love it. The clothes never comes out dry on the first attempt. I always have to run another timed drying cycle for 15 to 30 minutes to actually dry the clothes. I was hoping for a software update to fix this but if it doesn't happen soon I will be returning it.
I feel like people generally say their clothes get dry with this. I'm surpised to see your comment. Maybe you have a faulty unit?

1. No temperature control for dryer. One reviewer even measured that the dryer always uses 157 degrees, which might be too high for synthetics.
I guess I'm a little confused about this after looking into it further. The manual doesn't say anything about a specific temperature, but uses the phrase "low temperature" when describing the dry cycle... One site on a google search says an average dryer temp is 150F, so 157F would not be what I would call "low temp". Now I want to see a good measurement...
