Order cancelled, I wonder how long until the purchase drops off so you can order again? Annoying

Interesting. Used to be you could make additional orders if the price changed, but seems like that's no longer the case

Thanks got one, as a Swiss I wanted the PAMP lol . Anyone on here keeping those for the long run? Thought I would get CB with Chase Freedom but have the unlimited and from Costco but only have the Gold membership (just got membership so new to this) so I only get 1.5% CB from Chase in total.

Did you already get one of the Dragon bars (product number 1778080j ? I think you may be OK ordering a different product number if another design comes up. They also seem to occasionally assign new product numbers within the same design, but not always.

I think the pricing on these is a day or so behind. The last one of these was at or below spot (and the price had increased in the previous few days) This time around the price has dropped in the last few days
Yeah, it may be that Costco sets the price based on what they pay. So let's say they pay spot (or maybe spot - 2%, given their bulk orders or something). They may have arranged to buy a quantity of 100k bars over the course of a year, but aren't billed for each batch until the supplier ships them. That would mean a few days turnaround by the time they list them and would explain why they tend to be below spot when the price is going up, but above when the price is dropping.

Agreed, I think you're spot on. See what I did there?

And then Costco being Costco sticks to making their 10% (or whatever) and passes any recent gains on to their customers instead of bumping the price.

Good call on the "over the course of the year" idea. That would explain why all of these (Rand, Pamp OG, and Pamp dragon) seem to come in spurts). I guess if you're planning on a quick resell it would be best to wait for closer to spot.

I think SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) ETF is the same and more liquid when you decide to sell and you don't have to worry about it getting stolen. GOLD is another ETF but this is a gold mining company.

BAR is another gold ETF, practically identical to GLD in function but the annual fee is lower (I think about 0.17% instead of 0.4%.) That's the ETF I usually use, but obviously, there is a certain appeal to at least some physical holdings also.

Curious as to where you get that information from?

Store employee pulled it up on their computer to check if they had any inventory in-store. Instead I saw their online inventory.
