Oh absolutely, this is the swan song! History has repeated itself. Switch 2 drops in March. Look at all the patents and rumors that have been cropping up lately.
March is the end of Nintendo's fiscal year, which would not be when they would release a new console; April at earliest. But even that would be risky because it could piss off everyone who just bought a Switch at X-mas. July 2024 would be a safer bet, it's far enough away from the holidays, they can hype it up at tech conventions and it's the start to Q2.
Remember when everyone was absolutely sure Nintendo was launching the next-gen switch in 2021 and it turned out to be OLED?
It's been a while since I've gone to Wal-Mart, so I don't now if they still do it, but for at least the last couple years, just about every game has been $10 off in-store for the first month or two.
Starting this mid-year my local Walmart has stopped offering $10 discount on NSW games.
I've thought about buying this game since I played it such a long time ago. From what I remember, it wasn't amazing to a point I would put this game at Final Fantasy 6 or Chrono Trigger. I'll wait for $30 mark or lower.
Please check your credit card statements!! I am being charged a monthly charge for the price of this game which I paid for once already weeks ago. The company won't respond to three difference emails so now I need to report fraud to my credit card company!
