Depends how cheap you want. This cheap? Probably not this year.

Costco has the Hisense U75k 55" for $499 starting next week. That's what I'm planning to get unless something better pops up before then.

Yes Omni is better. Yes, it is 60hz but for the price and delivery, it is perfect for my college kid's apt. and a decent deal for $250 out the door for a 55". It will be delivered on Saturday.

You might have issues getting rid of the TV when it comes time to move. 43 inch is the perfect size for a car. 55 inches might be too big.

The problem is you won't find any 4K content. Netflix raises their 4k subscription price to $23/month.

I would also say the Omni is a significant step up from the 4 series- and to keep an eye out for sales.
I got the 50" Omni QLED 4K smart Fire TV for $300, and, yes, while only 60hz, it is impressive for a budget TV,. Basically a TCL 5 series with more local zones and some nice Alexa features.
