The one I received had 2 high frets on the high E string and a lot of fret sprout. But I will say the action was lower than other non-DLX standard Cali's I have bough from them. I've seen in the reviews on their site that the quality isn't where it was a year or two ago, but $100 for an ash body and Wilkinson hardware seems like a good deal to me. Their other lower cost non-DLX standard Cali's are around the same price, and this same guitar is selling for $110 on the monoprice website. This is monoprice's store on ebay.
