Same! I even took it to school and my 3rd graders started lettuce seedlings that they then all took home a couple weeks ago!
The poor lettuce is dying because she's intractably convinced that the unit has to be unplugged as soon as the sun goes down at 6pm (then she forgets to plug it in again the next day).

Plug it into a timed switch, either old school clicker or newer WiFi one
20 watt won't support much outside of herbs or for starting plants. For example (if you wanted to grow tomatoes or pot), you would want a bounty elite at 50 watts) 45 watts should be your minimum.
I typically start mine in a bag, transfer to the bounty, then to a farm XL.
