They're matching GameStop[gamestop.com] but didn't see pickup at the zips I checked.

Wierd, says it isn't deliverable to my address. I've never seen that before.
Same issue with Guardians of the Galaxy (PS4) some months ago. Support is useless, of course - they'll throw whatever BS they can at you to get rid of you, like the product causes cancer.
Maybe if we all escalate this will get solved, but I'm skeptical. I think Amazon's infrastructure has gotten too big and byzantine, and with all the cutting they've probably fired the people who could fix it.

I was told by support that it's a technical issue and we will have to wait until it is fixed before purchasing. Likely, it will be "fixed" when the price goes back up.

I remember when being a prime member meant 2-day shipping, and if not, they would give you a credit towards your next purchase. Now? Items take days longer at times and it means nothing. I understand companies grow and expand, but Amazon customer service used to be legendary. Even working with people in other countries, they had the ability to fix things or at least get you a solid answer. I still use Amazon, but it is hardly my go to for everything.

Amazon doesn't have to try anymore since they're as big as they are. It will only change when people stop giving them money

Even then, companies don't change. They just do what they can to grab the cash they can until they're just beating a dead horse. It's too easy to shop around now.
I tried hard to like this but it's just very dull. If you want final fantasy game there are better options and if you want a souls like game there are better options. For 5 or $10 though I can see why people would want to check it out. You'll probably get that much worth of enjoyment out of it at least. But I just got so bored trying to play this. I stuck with it for about 3 or 4 hours hoping it would get better and it just did not.

Even the demo bored me. I was hoping you would play the small starter island before the bridge gets built, about 1 hour of content in the original (that's with the grinding), but this was annoying, you start in the city and the person in front of you tells you the mission then immediately teleports you to the castle, you don't get to enjoy the city and you don't get to feel the open world traveling to the castle. The combat in final fantasy games anymore is getting so complex that it just kind of kills it for me. This one is no different.
