Actually, I just used it right before you tried. I hadn't got out to purchase any of these items yet to get my own code. Here is the thing - I just used the code on my Xbox account that had Game Pass for like 3 years and then lapsed and had just redeemed a free month from another promo just 2 months ago. So, it would appear that it does not need to be a new account - just an inactive one. Thanks by the way to bigrich147.

It can only be redeemed once. But when you enter the codes you earn points to put towards other items they have. Not sure how some people are getting 500 points to buy an Xbox. That's over 400 full Suze bags of chips. then again the codes are on the outside of the bags....
