Deal History

Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
There was a deal for these for around 399 a couple years ago. With the new blower out, and superior chainsaws from other brands, this shouldn't be more expensive now. More Bide-flation?
Why would you pay 100 for a blower that is that slow? Ego has one that is 200 mph and 765 cfm. Ego has like 6 or 7 blowers. This would be comparable to about the 2nd or 3rd lowest from Ego.
Also, people sell the chainsaw second hand for like 210 or 215, or at least, did two years ago.
Tools are like computers. Always newer and better stuff coming out, that reduces the price of old. This was the price at Home Depot two years ago.

Ahh, the ol' "saw this cheaper many years ago" responses are always my favorite around here.
Also, Ego has two better chainsaws than this. Why hasn't Milwaukee came out with a new chainsaw all this time? Milwaukee is definitely not that great for outdoor power tools.

Ego and Milwaukee isn't a fair comparison.. 18v vs 56v. Ego also is much heavier.. battery wise...
That's the point, though. Ego made a smart decision to go 56v long ago. Milwaukee is now trying to do the double battery thing in one tool, and it still isn't as good as Ego.
Yes, they are heavier, because the batteries are 2 or 3 times as much capacity as Milwaukees. Ego has a 56v 12 Ah battery, which is more than 3 times bigger than the 18v 12 Ah from Milwaukee.
Is an Ego 56v 2.5 Ah battery any heavier than a comparable 18v 8 Ah battery from Milwaukee?
Price is better on the Ego for the 16 inch comparable model to Milwaukee. A commenter earlier said that this deal we are commenting on would make the Milwaukee chainsaw roughly come out to around 250 dollars. You can get the Ego 16 inch chainsaw WITH BATTERY for that.
Horrible arguments in here…

One of the reasons I love Slickdeals, is that other people on here "red pill" you to let you know if something is a good deal or not.
This would be a good deal at 350.
Why is it still 450?

The Ego 18 inch chainsaw is better than the Milwaukee.
Guess what the chainsaw in this deal says…
Made in CHINA
