Hence "YMMV" - if your store's showing just a small handful of quantity, be prepared for a cancellation.. inventory accuracy on clearanced items is always a crapshoot.

Also, there's a lot more Knipex stuff than just the Cobras clearanced in some stores: https://www.lowes.com/search?sear...Variants=0

Thanks OP! Ordered one for pickup a few mins after you posted, got the order ready for pickup shortly after.

Glad to add this one to my toolbox!

I know it's common on SD but for everyone that's buying all of a stores stock, be a little less greedy. A deal like this on a single item for someone can be a big deal, let's spread the savings around a little bit.

Put in cart, showed sale price, with $5.99 delivery. Suddenly went to "Out of stock". Go back to page, it shows "See price in cart", then shows regular price.

Placed my order online for $19.49 (thanks OP) charged/checked out then the regular price pops up ($39.98) when there is no more available

Ordered two at my local store, we'll see if it goes through. I used some of these a couple years ago after buying them and I love them...20 bucks is a great deal for these.
Hot dang they fulfilled my order, it's in a locker ready for pick-up. I'm kinda eye-balling some of the other Knipex stuff now. They are probably dumping it because they have Klein at the stores now, who knows. These stores constantly shuffle their stuff around between Kobalt, Craftsman, Irwin, and other brands...it's all good baby because we are here to help clean out that 'old' inventory!

Got the wire strippers [lowes.com] and long nose pliers [lowes.com] combined for less than what the wire strippers usually go for: $47 total after tax👍

These will probably be in Electrical near the electrical tools in most stores - mine had more clearanced Knipex in stock but nothing else I really 'needed'. Very slick deal!

I would highly recommend that you go to the store and look. A store near me had them marked the sale price on the rack - after the website jumped to "out of stock" and marked them back to the normal price

This was the case for me as well. I actually saw them on sale at the store before I found this thread. All but the wire strippers are listed as out of stock online, but there were plenty in store.

Thanks I was able to order one for pickup.

Edit. My order was canceled as "out of stock". They went from 8 in stock to none in stock. Seems suspicious.
Same.

I picked up the one I ordered. They would not let me order anymore but had 4 more at the store so I bought 2 more for XMAS gifts. I did not want to be greedy and left the other 2.

Good deal! Think I'll hold off for a smaller ~5" set on sale though.
