If you have a 4k disc player, I highly recommend the 4k physical disk. The visual and audio experience is the best I have ever had in a home setup
I bought the disc but it didn't come with a digital code (I hate Warner Bros for doing that to customers) so I'm the sucker who's about to double dip for the digital. One of my favorite films of the past decade, probably of all time actually. It's hard to make a belated sequel to a film as iconic as Blade Runner and have it stand on its own terms but Villeneuve is a master and pulled it off. Visually alone this film is a work of art but he also found a way to revisit the themes of humanity from the original and expand upon them. I would argue 2049 does more with this theme than even the original did, and humanizes Deckard more and makes his plight more moving.

Somehow the visionary genius behind ALIEN: COVENANT and THE COUNSELOR had the nerve to knock it publicly after it came out. Sir Ridley certainly made a handful of great films in his time but the fact that he couldn't appreciate 2049 while simultaneously putting out dreck like Covenant (imo the worst film in the Alien franchise besides the AvP flicks) is just sad to me.
Flac compared to what? Be specific. What codec and vbr? What method of testing?

99.99% of headphone collectors cannot tell the difference. There is actual study (by BBC) on it too:

The analysis showed that there was no statistically significant difference in quality between the uncompressed signals and AAC-LC 320 kbps compression, which means participants did not perceive difference between two formats

This is why I've stopped carrying lossless files on my devices years ago

The problem is that I can't tell the difference even with an lg oled. It's like trying to distinguish between lossless and 320kbps mp3.

Due to the application of No Rush Shipping Credits having been applied? It shows up as zero for me, for the same reason.

It's because you had no-rush credits.

I'm in the exact same boat! Been waiting for this one! Luckily I saved up enough credits… haha

The physical media for this one so rarely goes on sale too! I've been waiting for a good special on the OG as well.

I got Blade Runner: The Final Cut (2007) recently in the 25 Warner Bros for $30 deal. Already had the best ones but it was still worthwhile:

It's now expired, apparently.

You can tell from a mile away. Look at all the banding in the sky gradients in the opening. Drives me crazy.

If you buy this in SD I hate you.

Not sure why; the video quality difference is not day and night but easy enough for even others in the family to distinguish.
Audio quality difference is totally at a different level altogether with the physical discs.

Cool. Good to know. Is that specific to this movie or all 4K HDR movies?
