I would avoid eBay and go with Walmart or target if you want these because they making return for any reason FREE and simple.
There's no free return shipping with Monoprice on eBay when it comes to the T6 unless damaged or defective.
I purchased 2 t6 when they were $268 each and a couple days later the price dropped to $168 each then a couple days after that they dropped again to $144 each.
I asked Monoprice on eBay if I could be refunded the difference they said no.
So I'm out $240 because I went with eBay and there's no free return shipping on the encore T6 on eBay.

The T6's would be a big upgrade. I can't say whether the C6 center is any good or not, it may be fine depending on your listening area. If you purchase at Target or Walmart returns are painless so it may be worth a shot.
Arendal's have a similar design and quite a few like them - the MTM designs I have heard generally do not have very good dispersion but I'm sure that doesn't apply to all.
Thank you for the informative reply and suggestions.
I think it makes sense to get matching towers and center if I can budget the THX set or get them discounted. That or maybe a different brand entirely. I'll need to mull over if the t6s towers are worth it right now.
I do have a Monolith 15" subwoofer, so I am unsure if I even need towers or if I should be looking at something smaller to put on stands.

You may also consider using a bookshelf like the B6 as a center if you have the room - it's actually ideal to use a standard vertical layout if possible but most setups will not accommodate that.
The T6's are great at the current price but if you have a bigger budget there are always better options. I expect the 460T/465T's to come down a bit - I think they'd be a good buy around ~$700-800 a pair.
I personally prefer towers for the LCR if possible (when paired with an Acoustically Transparent screen for example). Even when crossed at 80hz you'll still have a sloping output into the lower frequencies so having towers can help give a bit more headroom.

THX version for double the price and we have a deal. Wish it was white as well
THX is a pay to play certification. It encompasses 4 levels (Compact, Select, Ultra, Dominus). Since it requires a manufacturer to pay for the certification, may manufacturers no longer use this feature (Especially on lower priced products where it doesn't make financial sense). Many products will meet at one or more levels of THX certification, but since the manufacturer doesn't pay for it, they don't receive certification on the product. Many manufacturers no longer even use this certification at all.

Hmm something like B6 may work for the center. I know a tower as center would be a no go for my SA. Trying to determine how noticable of a difference I would get with the T6 vs. Current towers.

All you can really do is go by measurements/reviews. I'm guessing the T6's will go much louder without distortion and likely have a larger sound.
Since the return process is painless if purchasing from target/walmart it may be worth trying.

Considering the price has dropped even further, I ordered a set.
Would a third one as a center be worthwhile or should I consider a B6 / 365c instead?
If you can fit it - having all lcr at the same height is nice but requires that your display be pretty high.
Yea that makes sense. Technically could replace all of my speakers with towers correct?
I'll need to mull it over, don't think it would look great in my living room. Plan is to try and finish my basement next spring to make it a dedicated theater.

Yeah if you have the space and can sufficiently distance them - I've found that wall mounting generally works better in tighter spaces though. Heights of course would need to be smaller.

Probably going to go with something smaller, a 3rd t6 would look nuts in my living room haha. Also don't think it would work in the basement. A b6, 365c or some other bookshelf/center should work though.

For a dedicated theater look into AT screens if you go the projector route - makes things a lot easier and having the dialogue, etc directly behind the screen is nice.

Wild. I had ordered at $145 and was probably going to keep them. Having them adjust the price for me now, and I can't imagine not keeping them at this price point. $246 to my door.
From my reading today, I think my Infinity RC263 center channel should mix pretty well with it, so I don't think I'll change that out. Maybe if the Monolith 365C goes on wild sale I'll change my tune and give it a shot though.

Edit:
Horizontal dispersion is actually not too bad on the C6 but it does fall apart at about 20-25 degrees off axis

365C is much better though:

Compare it to the huge Klipsch RP-504C II (not good)

Here is someone who upgraded and was very happy with it. This is a 2 channel setup though.
