Looks like it's dropped further to $1499. Seems like a better deal than the other $1300-$1400 Lenovo Legions floating around with only 16GB RAM and a weaker CPU.

Tell me you will have 30 minutes of battery life and thermally throttle your entire existence without telling me… 😆

I wouldn't hold my breath on better deals popping up as we approach Black Friday. I haven't seen any other options that have non-soldered 32GB RAM in combination with the RTX 4070 and a processor that benchmarks comparably to the i9 in this one.

Any high performance gaming laptop like this will need an external cooling fan. I don't think anyone is relying on battery life to do what this thing was built for.

I understand that you want to be plugged in when playing games, if I use it for general video watching, web browsing on battery, how long does the battery typical last for those laptops?

No idea. I'd never do that since being unplugged will impact performance and it's going to be pretty hot on your lap. I use my Macbook when I'm traveling or need battery life. Gaming rigs like this aren't built for casual viewing and web browsing on the go.

From my experience owning a previous version of this laptop with Ryzen CPU and 3070, general use is no more than 2-3 hours even with all battery saving modes enabled and turning down screen brightness. Love the laptop but it's a workhorse and not a great on the go option
