Bought it last month at $900 then got a $50 price adjustment. Anyone know if Costco will do another price adjustment?

As for the TV, it is fine. I know there are a lot of people who need to have the absolute best TV, but I barely watch TV and my kids don't game, so it's perfectly fine for us. I did notice when I first set it up that when there is a completely black screen, you can see light "splotches" all over. Doesn't seem to affect image though when an image appears.

Finally, I've hung several TVs in my lifetime and his one is a beast. I still have a 60" plasma and I thought that guy was a monster. The guy puts it to shame. My wife is still angry she got a huge bruise on her thigh from helping me hang this. It was jut her and me, but to be on the safe side, I would suggest three people hang this.

So you could say… he's hung like a beast?

Might be a dumb question and I know the spec sheet doesn't have Atmos but what If I use atmos enabled soundbar would the eArc on this help with it?

Same here! I have a nice Atmos surround sound system and would otherwise purchase this. I'm almost positive the TV needs it but maybe someone else can chime in.

Yeah just read the white glove sheet. Thanks for the breakdown.

How so? What's different between older and younger viewers?

Consider the recommended distance from their seats.
Yeah, the distance is acceptable for this size screen.

my dad bought one for himself, and it's pretty huge. two considerations would be:

1) make sure you have the space for it, since it take up a lot of space. consider any additional space for any sound systems, furniture, etc.
2) make sure the viewing distance isn't too close, as it can be dizzying
Wall mounted or console table?

If only this had Dolby Atmos
Why? TVs don't need to have Atmos support to get Atmos. Just get a sound system that supports it. A Vizio one was just on sale (might still be) for $200. Granted Vizio sound bar systems have connection issues, but it's still an option.

This goes back to the question where the specs say this TV doesn't support it but would it send to the speaker system through the eArc?

What would you consider too close?!

he just rested it on two side tables. not the most stable, but he's the only one using it anyway.

well everyone's comfort level is different. if you want to be sure, you can measure the viewing distance from where the tv would be, go see the tv in person and stand that far away, and see if it's too close/large or not.
