No, no backlit keyboard
Bam! Got one.....good specs for 370 bucks, only thing missing is a backlit keyboard, but I can live without it.
Unfortunately, it seems that if it's under $400, no backlit keyboard. That's often the case with ones above $400, too. The op did a good job by actually mentioning this; most deal posts don't. I won't buy without backlit, either.

I almost ordered the similar 3520 i3 1215u with 8G RAM , 256G ssd for $246 plus tax , minus $40$ (shop at dell with AE, $40 rebate for $200 purchase ) However, I am trying to see the extra $90 for i5 is worth it.

See below for the i3 configuration and price.
You can create a new yahoo email account to get the 10% code, but the expiration date is still fixed on Nov 20. I created one and saw it.
Perhaps Dell set a fixed date on batches of the 10% code.

I would say it's definitely worth it. I think it's more than twice the CPU, twice the ram, and twice the storage. In the long run this will be a better purchase.

USB C charging probably not there. Some Dell Insp 3520 don't even have USB C port.
UBB C port only applied to 3520 certain models.

From the specs by Dell, there are two configurations of the USB ports.

1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 port (on systems configured with Type-C®)
2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (on systems configured with non Type-C®)

The RAM and storage are getting much cheaper. Last month, I upgraded most of my old laptops with 32G RAM ($50) and 1T ssd ($35). My former co-worker taught me to always buy Dell PC with minimum RAM and hard drive storage and then you can use the saving to get larger RAM and bigger storage in 6 months or 1 year. I found out this is true.
