It's a fantastic deal if you like to gamble. The thing about escooters like this is that there are like a hundred companies that make or rebadge stuff like this. This thing looks fantastic on paper, and for under 500 that's ridiculous, but you lose a tire, your suspension goes, your motor gives you problems, the battery dies, aaaany number of things go wrong with it, and this sub 500 dollar purchase either burns away or turns into a thousand dollar investment real fast. Short warranty (if at all honored, chances are likely not), 14 day return window, buyer pays for return shipping (something this heavy back looking to set you back about 100 if not more).

Average gas price is about 3.50 a gallon, most cars get about 300 miles a tank (about 45 bucks a tank). That means if you think you can get about 3200 miles out of this thing, you'll have gotten your money's worth. thats even if you look at it as a decent commute alternative to a car. maybe i'm thinking about this too much lmao
No removable battery pack (same for most scooters) which I suppose is okay for DIYers. Seems pretty nice, but no reviews here or on Orbarter's site. Short warranty period.

Looks good on paper, but real life experience? Not so good reviews so far. And yes, short warranty is red flag.

Need a deal on one with a brand that stands behind their product and has a UL listed battery.

This looks like its trying to be a super scooter. Specs look about 75% as good as some $1500-2000 scooters.

I think other than the really, really big brand, most scooter companies just don't provide these coverage. Apollo, for one, is one of them (bought it via SD, but their service and quality are both garbage)

Also insurance cost so breakeven is a bit lower.

Never heard of this brand, but most are clones anyways. I take the gamble if you ever wanted one and $500 is nothing to you. Only thing 60 lbs is a pain if you have to carry it up flight of stairs and there is no real good locking mechanism for scooters yet or that I've heard of.

Cars are really expensive. Gotta add registration fees, depreciation, and maintenance as well. Gotta get new tires? Say goodbye to $1000.

This is a single motor. It does pack a punch at 1000w though. 21ah battery is decent. The range is likely more 20 miles rather the 60 they advertise.

Still a decent deal if you are in the market.
